7 Podcast Recommendations for Women in Their Twenties
Podcasts are truly one of the best evolutions of content. They are ideal if you want to listen to a portable talk show while you work out, drive, do housework, and so much more.
However, in 2026, it does feel like almost everyone has a podcast. If you have never listened to a podcast before, it can be overwhelming to pick a show or episode! Or, if you like listening to some podcasts, it can be hard to start a new show. If either of these apply to you, this list can help give you some direction!
As a 20-year-old, these are my favorite podcasts in pop culture & lifestyle, health & wellness, and others I love!
Pop Culture and Lifestyle
The Toast
The Toast is a daily pop-culture podcast hosted by sisters Jackie and Claudia Oshry. Each weekday, they cover the latest celebrity news, internet drama, and pop-culture stories.
My favorite part of this podcast is that it reminds me not to take life so seriously. It makes me laugh, and once you know these too, you will laugh your heart out.
Gals on the Go
This is a lifestyle podcast hosted by Brooke Miccio and Danielle Carolan. They chat about everything from friendships, college and post-grad life, travel, fashion, beauty, and navigating your 20s.
Both of these girls attended the University of Georgia, where they were sorority sisters. If you like listening to two friends catch up, this is exactly what you are looking for! I love this podcast as I am doing chores or getting ready in the morning.
Brooke and Connor Make a Podcast
This is the funny, laid-back podcast hosted by Brooke Averick and Connor Wood. The two friends share stories from their lives, talk about pop culture and the internet, and go on plenty of hilarious tangents.
If you want to hear a whole lot of nothing that will captivate you, these two are your perfect pod.
Health and Wellness
The Psychology of Your 20s
The Psychology of Your 20s is a psychology-focused podcast hosted by Jemma Sbeg that explores the unique challenges and experiences of your 20s. Episodes cover topics like relationships, friendships, self-worth, career, loneliness, and personal growth.
This podcast always validates my feelings as I am navigating my twenties.
The Huberman Lab
The Huberman lab is hosted by neuroscientist Dr. Andrew Huberman. This podcast explores the science of the brain and body. Topics include sleep, exercise, nutrition, stress, focus, habits, and mental health, with episodes often focused on practical tools backed by scientific research.
Wow. If you want to learn about the human body, this is outstanding. Dr. Huberman is a wealth of knowledge.
Other
Stuff You Should Know
This is a fun educational podcast where hosts Josh Clark and Chuck Bryant explain interesting topics from history, science, culture, and everyday life. It is perfect for learning something new without feeling like you're listening to a lecture. They have both short 20-minute episodes as well as longer 50-minute episodes.
How I Built This
